Your Group Determines Your Greatness
Over the weekend we traveled to Phoenix, AZ for a health and wellness conference for the amazing nutritional cleansing company that we work for. We spent 3 days listening to motivational speakers, science talks about our products and hanging out with teammates. It’s exciting when you are able to travel to new places, experience new things and connect with such awesome and inspiring people like you.


One of the things we are walking away from this weekend with is the notion that, the people you surround yourself with determine how great you are and how great you will become. When you raise your bar and create a group with others who hold themselves to a higher standard as well, your likelihood of success skyrockets like never before.


When you step back and review all of the people currently in your life who make a daily impact on you, are there some people you could probably do without? One of the speakers told us that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Think about that. Who is toxic to your environment or your mind and/or who raises you up and makes your feel confident? We sometimes forget that we don’t have to be friends with everyone and we do not have to let people in our lives even if they are family. But the good news is, you don’t have to cut people out completely either. When you raise your own bar and set high goals for yourself, you tend to raise the bar for the people around you as well.


Our challenge to you this week is this:


1. Write down the 5 people you spend the most time with.
2. Determine who is toxic and nicely cross them off the list.
3. Write names of people you would love to replace those toxic people with next to the crossed out names.
4. Get out there and start meeting new people who will only help you on your road to success.


You only have one life to live make it the greatest life possible. Why not start with being more selfish this year.
